Also proud owner of an Australian Cattle Dog, Chipper.

Birthday:    December 28, 1951

Comments:    Co-owner of Anderson Mech Svcs (mechanical heat/AC contractor with Brother Joe (class of 1971) since 1988. We employ 3 former Falls Church High School grads. Wife and son Tim work in the business too. Mother still lives across from Tyler Park baseball field (mostly soccer games there now). Spent many years watching our boys play baseball through college-Tim, Gettysburg College and Chris, Univ of Mary Washington and following our daughter around the world (Austria and Turkey). Joyce and I are actively involved in our church, Leesburg Community Church

School Story:    Memories - Mr. Lunsford allowing us "jocks" to be in Band and play sports. He had a picture of myself, Larry Bertram, and Mike Trimble holding an athletic supporter in front of us in a picture hanging in his office. Chuck Sell eating Gelusil tablets on the football sidelines until his lips were white. Dean Boger losing his hat on every pitch he threw off the mound. Mike Spenser (class of 1969) getting his nose broken during spring baseball practice my sophomore year which allowed me to start at shortstop. Mike Trimble and I recreating the Easy Rider movie for English class. Watching Joyce, my wife, practice softball on the other field. Borrowing a swan from National Memorial cemetary for the Civitan initiation (at Scott Christopher's house) Mr. Christopher was not a happy camper. Our senior year we were 17-3 in baseball and didn't make it to the play-offs. Lost to Jefferson 3 times by 1 run each time. Our senior year football team, overwhelming favorites to win the Northern Virginia title, lost to Hammond in the play-off game. The following year Hammond merged with TC Williams as seen in the movie "Remember the Titans".

Hey, Bill! Glad you got the card and found the site! I think you'll enjoy reading the bios and seeing the pictures. You're in a few of the Little League and Elementary School photos. Hope you can make it to the reunion in October!
Jeff

Hello Bill,
Glad to see you have joined the class site. Great comments you have written. Found you in alot of the photos other classmates have posted. On Ruddle's profile he has posted a photograph from the regional football game. Note the Hammond H.S. player #74 recovering the football is Gary or Gerry Bertier, the same from the movie about TC Williams. He was a soph that year. We played against a great player/person. More from me later. Rick
